Adem Bey’s Story

Adem Bey grew up at the point where hookah and hospitality meet, in the heart of Süleymaniye. A journey that began years ago in a small room became, in time, Moss Lounge The Bosphorus. To him hookah was never merely a pleasure; it was where conversation, sharing and warmth begin.

Over the years he shaped every corner of the place with his own hands. He tried the aromas one by one, developed the blends alongside master craftsmen, and made the satisfaction on his guests’ faces the measure of everything. Guided by the belief that “a good hookah is worth as much as good conversation,” he gave classic flavours and signature blends the same care.

Today MOSS LOUNGE is not only a hookah lounge; it is a room you can bring the whole family to, where okey tables are set out and specialty coffee and generous plates have their place. Adem Bey still talks with his guests often and greets newcomers himself, because what matters to him is that everyone feels at home.

Good to Know

Is the venue suitable for families?

Yes. MOSS LOUNGE’s calm, comfortable atmosphere makes it a place families choose too. We are happy to host guests with children.

Is there parking?

Yes. We offer parking for guests arriving by car. If you would like a space held during busy hours, just mention it when you book.

Is a reservation required?

Not required, but we recommend booking in the evenings and at weekends. That way we can prepare the area you prefer.

Are the hookah flavours prepared fresh?

Yes. Every hookah is blended fresh and prepared with care. Each order, including Adem Bey’s signature blends, is made individually.

Do you serve food and breakfast?

Yes. Alongside the hookah we have a full menu: from breakfast to grills, desserts to specialty coffee.

Do you show live matches?

Yes. On important match days the broadcast is on. You can enjoy your hookah and the game together.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash and all credit and debit cards.

Do you allow pets?

Unfortunately we cannot accept pets indoors. Thank you for understanding.

What are your opening hours?

We are open every day of the week. For current hours you can call us or ask when you book.

What else is there besides hookah?

Specialty coffees, teas, cold drinks, desserts and satisfying dishes. There is something for every taste.

Can we come as a group?

Yes. We have areas suited to groups of friends and small celebrations. For larger groups we recommend booking ahead.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Yes, we offer free Wi-Fi to our guests.

Is there a smoking area?

As our venue is hookah-focused, hookah is enjoyed in the general areas. Our staff can help with any details.

Can we bring decorations or a cake for a special occasion?

For small celebrations, just let us know in advance. For larger events please get in touch with us.
